Father’s Day Post

Hey Faithers! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week has been good! It's hump day! Yay!

Y'all! It is the month to celebrate Father's Day! If you choose to celebrate! But I want to come today and celebrate the fathers, father figures, and the men who show up. Recently, I have got a couple of men clients who are actually into healing. They want to heal from breakups and losses of all kinds. I love seeing people want to recover. But to see men, who have been told that they have to be strong or men don't cry, come and want to be vulnerable and cry, is a fantastic feeling. I believe we are moving forward to a healing society.

As we approach father's Day, I honestly want to say, "Happy Father's Day" to all the men who have taken their jobs and positions seriously; I want to say, "Thank you, I appreciate you, and I want to send you all the love!

Father's Day used to be so hard for me. I lost my dad when I was only 15 years old. I used to be bitter. But I had a wake-up call. Father's Day was not about me. While it was a triggering day, and while I preach to follow your body, I had to learn that I am responsible for healing and working through the day. I had to turn my pain into passion and remember that there were people out there who needed to be celebrated. And if I am being honest, if my daddy were alive, I wouldn't even think twice about it. I have learned to observe other people on days like this and celebrate the ones I have lost.

I encourage anyone who is hurting today to embrace their feelings. Embrace how you feel and know that what you feel is valid.

If you are in the position to embrace men or father figures today, please do so. Let a man know that you love him and appreciate him. He needs to hear it.

One thing I want is for men to feel like they can have emotions and be vulnerable. I like men to stop feeling like they have to be the most challenging thing. I want men to feel like they can be comfortable around women. I know some men have been in a position where women have used their vulnerability against them. But I want men to know that there are women who genuinely love you and will support you! I know it may not seem like it, but listen, we are here and exist!

I want to send you all a very Happy Father's Day!

Enjoy your Wednesday, and remember to love you the way you love the world!
